Please note that this tour is offered on a join in basis, so there may be other guests joining you on the tour. Our maximum group size is 16 people. For guests that do not want to go in a group, we also offer a private tour option for an extra charge.

Can you accommodate Vegans and Vegetarians on your tours?
Absolutely! We take vegans and vegetarians on our tours almost daily, and prior guests love the variety and quality of the dishes we provide!
Our vegan and vegetarian guests will be provided just as much food or more than other guests on the tour.

Please keep in mind that our tours are by default group tours so non-vegan/vegetarian guests will be served dishes containing meat.
Can you cater to my food allergies and other restrictions?
If given prior notice, we can adjust the dishes on our tours to accommodate almost any food restriction. Don’t like seafood – no problem. Vegetarians/Vegans we’ve also got you covered. We can also deal with gluten allergies, nut allergies, shellfish allergies, etc.
Please let us know about your food restrictions, at the time you book your tour, so that we can prepare alternative options.
If you are allergic to fish however, we do not recommend booking our food tour as most dishes in Vietnam are marinated with generous amounts of fish sauce. If you’re allergic to fish sauce then the only safe dishes for you to eat are the vegetarian dishes.
We also don’t recommend booking a tour if you are allergic to MSG, as most Vietnamese dishes will contain MSG (including vegetarian dishes).

How is the "XO Foodie Tour" different from other scooter food tours in Vietnam?
Over 95% of the scooter tour operators in Vietnam run their tours illegally. They also hire unlicensed, poorly trained and compensated students to run the tours and are not safe in our opinion. No insurance policy will cover you if the company you book with operates illegally.
Additionally, if you look at the menus of these other tours, they serve cheap street food like banh mi, banh xeo, banh cuon, Vietnamese pizza, etc…..dishes that contain a lot of carbs to fill you up. They also mislead people with the number of dishes they serve by including things like drinks and dessert.

We also have a team of support staff that follow every tour to help direct traffic, park the bikes, keep aggressive vendors away from our guests and staff, setup tables and help prepare the food BEFORE you arrive at each food stop so there is ZERO WAIT TIME. Also in the unlikely event that you are involved in an accident, they can provide first aid and coordinate medical care.
While our tours may cost more, running them requires 3-4 times the investment compared to copycat tours, and at XO Tours we believe our guests value exceptional quality above all else.
