Saigon has nearly 5 million motorbikes and a 100,000 cars, all who are crazy and would be banned from driving in the UK. So its pretty scary just watching the traffic.  My wife after much persuading agreed to go on the XO motorbike tour. And after 5 minutes she was elated and glad she did and felt totally safe. The girls who drive the motorbikes are the most friendly, excellent drivers and beautiful you could wish to meet and they speak great English. My wife mentioned it was my birthday and one of the girls bought me a cake with my name on it and a happy birthday hat. Totally unexpected and out of the blue. How about that!  We did a lot of trips while in Vietnam but this motorbike tour of Saigon was definitely the best and most memorable. Just do it!

Ho Chi Minh is a crazy town, and the best way to see it is to embrace all the action. we had such an amazing time on this tour. Thanks so much to Tung and all the girls. It was such a blast to be in the middle of the action seeing all the sights, especially when we whizzed by a bus of bored looking tourists.

Gaining local insight, getting our bearings and pretty much laughing all the way made this one of the best tours that I have ever been on (it also helps you get over the initial fear of the totally insane traffic in this city).  Extra touches like having photos of our trip emailed to us and being bought local treats along the way means that I would recommend this as a 'must' for anyone to do (especially on one of your first days in town).

Fantastic tour guides with the knowledgeable Tung there also to provide extra background and information about Saigon. Loved the day trip of the sights so much, we booked to do the night time tour as well. Day tour was a great way of seeing the sights, and the night time tour was an amazing experience of China Town at night, tasting delicious street food and seeing the parts of Saigon that are not on the regular tours. The girls are very friendly, and we had a great time getting to know them. Felt very safe on the bikes and it really felt like we were being taken around Saigon by friends rather than a tour operator. Highlight of our stay in Saigon.

Really can't say enough about these folks. My wife and I are 60-ish, not-altogether-adventurous Americans and had a WONDERFUL time. Not only did we have two totally charming and knowledgeable young women driving us around and providing commentary, but on our trip, the operator of the business, Tung Do, who spent much of his life in the States, accompanied us and offered great info and insights.

We took the trip on our first full-day in HCMC, so it was kind of a highlights tour and a really good way to see the most important sights and get your bearings in the city. If you've already seen a bit of the city, I'm sure they can tailor a trip to suit your desires.Though HCMC traffic is truly intimidating to a first-time visitor, you won't believe how safe you feel with these young women driving. They are experts. (The real saving grace of the local traffic is that it never moves very fast.)  In addition, they take photos of you that they will provide later by email.

We were lucky to be able to arrange the trip on the day we called, but it is advisable to book in advance. They do book up.  Just do it! It will be one of the most memorable days of your trip.

I am usually not a "tour" person but I am a food fanatic and thought the foodie tour sounded cool. This tour turned out to be the absolute highlight of my trip to HCM. Everything about XO tours is top notch - I had actually booked for the incorrect day and the owner, Tung Do, called and emailed me until he reached me and made sure to accommodate me even though it was my mistake.

Tung and one of his fabulous ladies picked me up from my hotel right on time and the feasting began! We visited several restaurants and markets and sampled a variety of incredible food - with lots of time in between stops for our stomachs to rest and recharge. My favorite stop was a local restaurant where we cooked goat and okra tableside on individual grills - it was fantastic! The coconut coffee flan for dessert was also incredibly yummy.

Tung made sure we learned a lot about the city and what we were eating without it feeling like a "tour" and his fabulous ladies took excellent care of us. I would have done this tour another night if I could have - it was that much fun! I was also very impressed at the end of the night - our food was less expensive that night than the tour price so he actually refunded me $10 right on the spot at the end of the tour. It's very hard to find a tour operator who is as honest and dedicated as Tung.

Because of the mistake I made in booking, I took a day tour with another company the previous day. XO beat the pants off of this other company in every way. I don't have enough great things to say about XO - just go!!!!! You won't regret it.

Our XO Tour of Saigon by motorbike was perhaps the best thing we did during our 5 night stay in HCMC.  Tung Do the owner of the business and accompanying guide was utterly charming and offered us a wealth of interesting and useful information.  We both felt completely safe behind the lovely young women riders in their beautiful traditional costumes. Our itinerary was customised to bypass all the big ticket city attractions that we had already visited on foot.  Our only regret was that the evening "Foodies" tour booked for an evening later in the week had to be cancelled because of heavy rain. Thankfully Tung was not prepared to put our safety at risk even though he knew how excited we were about our second XO Tour.

Seeing the brochure on the guesthouse counter, my curiosity was piqued instantly. I thought to myself, "what a cool way to discover the city." I set my expectations high and scheduled a tour.
I am happy to say that those expectations were exceeded by far, to the extent that, as I was being dropped off after the day tour, I immediately scheduled the night tour, which was even crazier, as I had not one but three lovely ladies escort me around HCMC to show me things that most tourists don't get a chance to see. At the end, they were nice enough to join me for pizza before taking off
Bottom line, if you want to see Vietnam's largest city in the hippest way possible, book a tour with XO. The manager, Tung, and his ladies run the best show in town.

There are some things in Vietnam that you just can't see without having to endure the billion hour bus rides and overly rehearsed tour guide spiels. But if you want to see the city from a local's perspective then you really have to go on an XO bike tour!!

Our beautiful guides were absolutely lovely girls with the most contagious smiles and laughter you could possibly imagine! They got a good feel for the kinds of things we wanted to see on our tour (including the closest thing to Saigon's 'red light district' - the lake side make-out strip) and also showed us some of their own favourite spots. After a 30 degree day, cruising through the bustling Saigon streets in the cool evening breeze was awesome! It was great to just be able to soak in the surroundings without necessarily visiting 'tourist sites' - the city truly does come alive at night, and when you're on the streets on a bike you're more 'amongst it all' than you can possibly be!

We also got a DVD of our experience (a third member of staff follows you on another bike with a camera, so you get to re-live the tour when you get home) and watching it has made me want to go back so badly!

And if you're worried about safety - we were too! But once we met the girls and got on our bikes we felt completely at ease, they were very safe.

All in all - I don't think my trip to Vietnam would have been the same without this tour. It's a total must!

Nga and Tung provided a wonderfully memorable Shopping Spree Tour for me. I highly recommend it. First of all, they made sure I was safe on the scooter and then wanted to know exactly what I was looking for or wanted from my tour. They accommodated all my wishes and when I ran out of money Tung even lent me some! What a host. They made me feel like we were friends. They showed me special shops and also where to exchange money to get the best rate. During our tour it rained a little and even rain capes were provided for. They thought of everything! Thanks and this has been a great way to experience Saigon. Good luck with building the business!

Thanks for a great tour! I loved that I could tailor my tour to what I wanted to see and do. So many times I don't like being subjected to a bus tour's schedule. Instead, I felt like I was part of the city by seeing it on a bike compared to watching it from a bus. My guide knew a lot of Saigon's history and was able to tell me so much about the city. I got to go to some great places that I hadn't heard of yet, and she was a very good driver! I would suggest for anyone who wants to have a lot of fun on a tour while seeing the city in a personal way to use your tour service.
